1. These terms
These Terms govern your use of EduAI. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use EduAI.
Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your personal data and forms part of these Terms.
2. Beta status
EduAI is early software offered free of charge while we validate it with real learners. Expect rough edges: features may appear, change, or be removed; estimates may be recalculated as our models improve; and we may need to take the service down at short notice.
We will not delete your learning record to make a product change easier, and we will give reasonable notice before withdrawing something you depend on.
3. Who may use EduAI
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are below the age at which you can agree to online services on your own in your country, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf.
You may hold one account. Do not create additional accounts to evade a suspension or to manipulate any ranking.
4. Your account
Register with accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and tell us promptly at legal@eduaz.org if you think someone else has access. You are responsible for what happens under your account while it is in your control.
We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication. If you lose both your password and your recovery codes, we may be unable to restore access — that is a consequence of not holding your credentials in readable form.
5. What a readiness score is — and is not
EduAI estimates how ready you are for an exam from the evidence it has: the questions you have answered, how you answered them, how confident you said you were, and how long ago that was. It is a statistical estimate with error bars, presented as honestly as we can manage, including when the honest answer is that we do not yet know.
It is not a prediction of your result, not a promise, and not a substitute for your teacher's judgement. We do not guarantee any exam outcome, grade, admission, or placement. Decisions you make on the basis of a readiness score — what to study, when to sit an exam, which programme to apply to — are yours.
Where the product labels a score as calibrated or verified, that label describes how much evidence supports the number, not a warranty of the result.
6. AI-generated content
Explanations, generated questions, and tutor replies are produced by large language models. They can be confidently wrong. Verify anything that matters before relying on it, and never submit AI output as your own work where your school or exam board forbids it — that is between you and them, and we cannot help you if it goes wrong.
Do not use the AI features to generate anything unlawful, abusive, or unrelated to learning. We meter AI usage per account and may throttle or suspend access if usage looks automated or abusive.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- access another person's account or data, or try to.
- harass, threaten, defame, or endanger anyone through the service.
- upload malware, scrape the service at automated scale, or probe it for vulnerabilities without our written permission — good-faith security reports are welcome and are covered by section 16 of the Privacy Policy instead.
- manipulate rankings, streaks, or rewards, including through multiple accounts or automation.
- submit a false exam-outcome attestation or forged evidence. Our calibration claims depend on these being true, so we treat falsification as a serious breach.
- resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service, its question bank, or its AI output as a product of your own.
- use EduAI in breach of any applicable law.
8. Your content
What you create — answers, notes, flashcards, questions you write, messages you send — stays yours. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display it as needed to operate the service for you, and to use aggregated, de-identified statistics derived from it to improve the question bank and our models.
That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for the aggregates, which by then no longer identify you.
9. Our content
EduAI's software, question bank, curriculum mapping, branding, and interface are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use them for your own learning. Copying the question bank out of the product — by hand, by script, or by prompting the AI to reproduce it — is outside that right.
10. Fees
EduAI is free during the beta. There is no paid tier, and we hold no payment details.
If we introduce paid plans later, we will say so in advance and no existing account will be moved onto a paid plan without an explicit opt-in. Nothing you have already earned or recorded will be put behind a paywall retroactively.
11. Availability
We aim to keep EduAI available but do not promise any level of uptime during the beta. Maintenance, provider outages, and the occasional bad deploy will interrupt the service.
12. Suspension and termination
You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings; the effects are described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate an account for a material breach of these Terms, for suspected fraud or abuse, to protect other users, or where the law requires it. Except where a delay would cause harm or is legally barred, we will tell you why and give you a way to respond.
13. Disclaimer
EduAI is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that its content is free of mistakes, or that its estimates will prove accurate for you.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, lost opportunities, or exam results that did not go the way you hoped.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the preceding twelve months — which, during the free beta, is nothing — or the equivalent of fifty United States dollars.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under any consumer protection right you hold that cannot be waived.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes will be heard by the competent courts of Baku.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes are announced in the application and, where we have your email address, by email, before they take effect. If you keep using EduAI afterwards, you accept the updated Terms; if you do not, delete your account.
